Woking Archery Club

After the Prime Ministers announcement and after discussion we have made the decision that Whilst archery appears to be a suitable sole pursuit, providing the use of facilities by multiple people appears inappropriate.
Hence the range is currently closed.
We have not taken this decision lightly and with a heavy heart. We will keep this under review over the coming weeks.
Stay safe all.

All,

We understand a few people have asked if the latest emails from the club are legitimate. To confirm the messages regarding the upgraded track and one WRT Easy Fundraising are good.

We have started to use MailChimp to see if we get better delivery rates, as some members had not received emails from the club. Messages may also be sent directly by individuals on the committee.

The will come from Woking Archery Club with an email as mailist@Wo....

Thanks

Big congratulations to James Woodgate in becoming senior recurve national champion. James started the day well placing fourth in qualification with a new club, county and SCAS record. He continued and won all of his head to heads to become national champion in a close final.

James also won with the Southern County's team as region champions.

Entry track improvements
We are improving the entry track.
Those of you that have been to the field recently will have noticed that the entry track has become very waterlogged and so access has become difficult.
We have been considering the various options and due to the amount of work that needs to be carried out as quickly as possible, we have chosen to use a contractor to do the work.
Thanks to Mark for arranging for this to be done this coming week.
While the work is carried out you will be able to access on foot having parked at the rear of car park 4.
Apologies for the slight inconvenience while this is carried out, we expect this will take a few days and will let you know when the work is complete.
