Great shooting James congratulationson a great score.Decent day's shooting at the Surrey junior champs on Saturday - set out to get a 1300 and came in quite comfortably at 1316 for the Cadet Men's WA 1440 (aka metric 1 or ladies fita). And just 3 points off taking the 60m distance national record (slightly gutting as they were definitely available at that time in the day) 👌.

Thanks to the all the crew for a well run shoot.

Congratulations JamesI had a pretty good week in Slovenia 🇸🇮.

It started off wet in official practice, then moved to some pretty difficult wind in qualification which I managed to deal with quite well, ending up on a 646 to qualify 4th. It is safe to say I was quite happy with that result.

Individual eliminations didn't go quite so well, as I was knocked out in the 1/8th pass against some stiff competition from a Ukrainian. Fair play to him as he shot well but I didn't feel I was quite shooting up to standard.

I also had some good fun in the team rounds but we got knocked out by a strong German team 6-0 in the quarters.

All in all a great week with a load of new experiences; congrats to all the GB medal winners.

Now can't wait for the selection shoots coming up for some great head to head practice. 👌

Thanks again to Quicks Archery for the support and doing some updating which I didn't throughout the week 😉.
