Something you don’t see often at a Flag shoot. Angus managed to hit the actual flag pole using his bare-bow. Thanks all that attended #flagshoot #archerylife #surreyoutdoor #targetarchery See MoreSee Less

Dear members,Sundays a Field Shoot – come join in the fun. This Sunday we are scheduled for a Field Shoot. Note – due to the nature of this shoot, not other target shooting will be available while the Field Shoot takes place. For people that are not familiar how we host our Field Shoots. We shoot from outside the field into the field to Targets with animal faces on, as shown below. These are at various distances, and likely shooting from different angles. You will not go round on your own, usually there are groups of 4 or 6 people depending how many turn up. It would be great to have you join us. If you would like to explore what field archery can be like, this is a great starting point. As you will be walking through long grass and rough ground, make sure you have sturdy and supportive footwear, preferable boots. Please arrive around 09:00 to help with some of the minor setup like placing faces on the targets. Shooting starts at 10:00.If you have some spare time on Saturday afternoon around 15:00, Peter C will be setting up the field for the Field Shoot and would appreciate some help like putting out targets & Pegging down, or setting the bridges out.We would like to serve Sausages, Bacon and Eggs but we could really do with a volunteer to cook. Please if you can assist I’m sure there will be some hungry field archers who would appreciate it.Any questions please get in contact.Happy shootingHeres some snaps from from our 2021 October Field Shoot See MoreSee Less
